Quand deux fans de Matt Valentine se rencontrent et composent ensemble, voilà ce que ça donne. Cette longue pièce psyché de 17 minutes est une longue envolée blues-space-expé saisissante composée en un week-end. Ca évoque forcément un peu the tower recordings, forcément je ne peux m’empêcher de penser à ça, mais bon ça évoque aussi sûrement pas mal de groupes expérimentaux américains que je ne connais pas. En tout cas, ça faisait longtemps que j’avais pas entendu un truc si free en France ! (si si ils sont français, mais peu importe d’où ils viennent…). Enfin j’adore tout simplement….bénissons les!

  2. Wow, that song is very slow. It’s beyond sedate. I don’t think I have slower songs than that.

  4. It’s a nice 2 am. song. A little art noise ala sonic youth/velvet underground, dubbing, some singing (I notice part of cat power style in there), and some moaning. I think that part scares the neighboors cat away. It’s a delicious mess.

  5. I like this song from previous album. pretty interesting, I like the organ layer. He doesn’t add stretched tones as much as in Liz. The way he streches his voice in Liz drives me completely mad in that song. It’s a little overdone.
