“My name is nobody, taken from Jim Jarmusch’s “Dead Man” , is Vincent Dupas’ musical project .
Influenced by American music and culture as a whole (John Fante, les Frères Coen, Palace, Johnny Cash, Slint…), his music is gentle stroll through country, pop and folk songs.
Growing up close to his friends Jonathan Seilman aka This Melodramatic Sauna (5 years in the same band) and Eric Pasquereau aka The Patriotic Sunday It is perfectly natural for My name is nobody to take part in the Collectif Effervescence once Vincent had opened his drawer and heart to old tapes of Palace Brothers and Leonard Cohen.
Creating My name is nobody, acoustic guitar in hands and bittersweet
ballades in his head.”
